Das ist aber nur der Beta-Phase geschuldet, wenn ich das richtig verstehe. Ich denke aber auch, dass das live-Update nicht die monatlichen Updates ersetzen soll.

Address incremental update is not supported and last minute we had to disable OSM Live for Routing. Mostly the issues are related to maps themselves and users don't need to update OsmAnd 2.3 but they require new maps.

Please be aware of a serious possible issue with map rendering. It might become extremely slow or have diagonal lines (1, 2). It is still not fixed and we plan to provide a fix with April OSM maps. Maps should be redownloaded.

Im ersten verlinkten Fehlerbericht findet sich dann:

It is related to the bug with long lines in osm updates. We are working on the fix but it will be introduced not earlier than next week. The fix will be on the server side, we also postponed map generation cause it is all interconnected (we need to change osm id in order to fix that issue).

Es gibt also Probleme mit den Live-Aktualisierungen, weshalb die monatlichen Kartenaktualisierung ausgesetzt wurden, da zur Behebung des Problems auch die normalen Karten verändert werden müssen (z.B. andere Objekt-IDs?).
Wahrscheinlich möchte man gleich die verbesserten Karten zum Herunterladen anbieten.
